I have been lucky enough to be a mother for five years now. As women know, once you become a mom everything changes, which is why I am a huge advocate for celebrating all the amazing women out there on Mother’s Day, which is May 8th this year.
Moms are actually pretty easy to shop for. As long as it is thoughtful and useful you cannot go wrong. And if it’s personalized it makes it even better! So there are some Mother’s Day gifts I would personally love to receive.
- Motivators carries some great name brands. Among them is Isaac Mizrahi. I have been eyeing the Evelyn Gift Set, which consists of a beautiful tote with a matching wristlet. I love a nice large tote bag that I can bring with me to work, the park, or even just to keep an extra pair of clothes for the kids in. But being that this is a retail style and brand it makes me feel and look fashionable and organized.
- I happen to love a nice glass of wine. Working and having two kids can be stressful, and a glass of wine with dinner or with friends helps me wind down. Wine glasses are a great gift or giveaway (paint night anyone?). So give Mom a nice bottle with custom imprinted wine glasses to help her enjoy and relax on her day.
- My reality is that I do dishes and cleaning a lot. And once spring comes I am outside doing yard work almost every weekend. To help the monotony of my hard work I love listening to music on my blue tooth speaker. I personally hate having earbuds or dealing with wires, so a speaker is a great item to have. It is also a great gift for anyone, especially moms like me.
- I try to stay in shape and active. I want to be able to run around with my girls and keep up with them at the playground. So if you know a sporty mom or a mom trying to get into a healthy lifestyle, a fitbit is a great gift. Motivators now sells three styles including the newest watch style. I think I will add this to my wish list!
These are just a few Mother’s Day gift ideas to get your shopping started, but really as long as the gift is thoughtful, Mom will love it!
