Promotional Packaging

Studies have proven that brand recognition is a well-known decision making factor when it comes to purchasing anything. Think about all the times you've chosen Coca Cola over the regular store brand of soda or if you've been driving down the road and in the distance you spy the golden arches. So when Dollz Inc wanted to focus solely on their brand, they chose to do it via their packaging. Promotional bags have always been a top choice for retail stores, but Dollz Inc went a different route.



Instead of typical shopping bags, the packaging was designed to look like a doll house, so that every doll goes home in a house. It further adds to the fun of buying a doll. It's also extremely similar to a really well-known brand that does this already: Build a Bear.



Just another point that packaging does play a key role in the experiences you have with your customers. Even businesses that aren't retail should be concerned with packaging. Whether it be company stationary or the annual corporate gifts, just remember that every move you make should be worthy of leaving a lasting impression and packaging is no exception.

I totally agree that the bag that you take the item home in makes a massive difference. I like shopping at jane norman because they give you a really nice bag. I know people that try and collect all the different colours. These kind of promotional items can make a big difference to the number of sales.
