Sticking it to the Polar Bears

Here we go again with the stickers on cars. The Taiwan Environmental Agency created this ad targeted at drivers. The goal was to remind them that less driving means less CO2 production, which in turn is better for polar animals like polar bears, penguins, and seals. The promotional stickers that were designed fit over the key locks of car doors, so that whenever you inserted your key you were essentially stabbing an animal and killing it. Apparently they pulled it off in Taiwan, but it definitely would not work in the US. For one thing, several cars have key less entry, thus making this ambient nearly impossible to understand. And secondly, maybe I'm selfish on this one, but don't stick something on my car. That's MY car.
My mom occasionally donates to the World Wildlife Foundation and every so often they'll send her promotional gifts like imprinted blankets or holiday ornaments. That's fine. Send me whatever you want, just don't put anything on my car!
