Custom Soccer Balls Encourage a Drug Free Lifestyle in Iran
In Iran, 1 in 17 children are addicted to drugs. This incredible statistic is absolutely frightening and its not surprising that there are an insurmountable number of anti-drug programs targetting school children. This one, posted over at Ads of the World involves custom soccer balls (or as the rest of the world calls them, footballs) and claims that with just one soccer ball, 22 children are kept away from doing drugs.

For the most part, that's true but without quantifiable data to serve as evidence that the soccer players aren't actually using drugs, its difficult to tell whether the campiagn was successful. In addition to the custom soccer balls, fundraising campaigns were set up for the Hikeshi Project on blogs and twitter. Sadly, @hikeshiproject only has 10 followers and it doesn't seem like much of a campaign has been created at all.
