We are always encouraged to write about scenarios that we encounter on a day-to-day basis such as questions that are asked by our potential and current customers. And I thought it would be a great idea to have a section where the order process is explained to ease the minds of the people who make us Motivators!
To start, let’s go over the different methods of ordering:
Our website (www.motivators.com) is the magic place where it all happens. You enter our world of thousands of products that are available to you. The search box on the top of the page will help you search for the phrase or key word that you are looking for. Once you have found the item you like, you can simply add it to the cart and follow the steps. Freight and production time will not be estimated for the orders. You can call or live chat for an estimate.
Over the Telephone:
You can always call us to go over any questions or concerns you may have. We have a designated sales department on call to assist you any way we can. Not only will we answer your questions, we can also help you find the right product for your individual needs and place the order for you over the phone. This is the most ideal method because our sales reps have access to inside information that is not available on the website (stock check, freight, rush production, etc.). Especially if you are in a rush, please call us to place the order so we can make sure to get it to you on time.
We are a click away! When you are on the Motivators website and have a question about anything, you can always live chat with us, and we can answer your questions while you browse. We can even place your order through the live chat option. Of course we will need to call for payment information.
If you speak to a sales rep over the phone for pricing, they will mostly email you a phone quote that you can turn into an order by clicking “Order Now” at the bottom of the page. By clicking this link, it will prompt you to enter in your credit card information.
General Order Process Information
Your logo is required to be a vectored image in a .eps or .ai file. If you provide any other files (jpeg, png, bnp, pdf, word, power point etc.) we will need to recreate your logo, and a $30 art fee will apply. The reason for this is simply because we want your image to be the highest quality it can be. Non-vectored images have pixels, which can make them look blurry or jagged when printed. Vectored images have no pixels, so the end result is a crisp, clear logo. Believe me, if you have a non-vectored logo, it will be $30 well spent.
We will need your payment information on file before we can get you an art proof; however, you are NOT charged for anything until you approve the proof.
It takes about one-two business days after we have your full order and artwork to receive your proof. We do not start production on the order until we have your written approval on the order proof. You can make as many changes to your proof as you would like until it is perfect. Production days start the day/time after you approve the proof.
If you have a specific event date or date you need your order delivered by, please let us know or note it on your order. This is very important for the order process and your event. The first thing we will do is make sure we have your items in stock and notify you if we cannot meet your deadline for any reason. If this happens, don’t panic. Our sales reps are experts, and we know this business inside and out. We can almost always help either by finding a similar item that is in stock or suggesting another product that might work well.
When you place your order, consider the cost for the entire order, not just the cost of the items. Some of our items have all-inclusive pricing, but the majority of products on our site will have additional charges for:
- Multiple imprint colors
- Set up / Run
