The clip is not actually 80mm- It is only 77mm, and the imprint area is on 1.75". For substantially less money you might want to try the "Magellan Carabiner Clip." At least get samples of both clips before you purchase.

These backpacks are a good size and appear to be well made. As another reviewer noted, they smelled terrible when they arrived, but I threw them in the dryer with some Febreeze and they improved significantly.
